Black Tie dance with the Art Deco Orchestra, partly to celebrate George Tudor Hart's 74th birthday and the end of lockdown for ballroom dancers. We will provide ice buckets and glasses, but please bring your own bottle. We will allow a total of up to sixty guests, and both couples and singles will be welcome, with tables and chairs for all guests.
We have a large dance floor, a stage and the hall is well ventilated with opening widows on two sides. You can wear a mask if you wish to, but it will certainly not be compulsory. Tickets will be £15 each, you are requested to buy in advance, and there will be no refunds for any reason, unless we are forced to cancel by Govt.
The Art Deco Orchestra is a ten piece of professional musicians, has played for us many times before, play strict tempo dance music mainly from the 1920s and 1930s, Dress code will be srcictly black tie and evening dress only, and if you do not comply you will be refused admission.
The doors will open at 7pm and the last waltz will be at around 11 pm.Tube trains run all night from Colliers Wood Underground station, which is five minutes walk away, and there's a large free car aprk behind the Hall.
