Wynyard Planetarium and Observatory invite you to
The 2021 Perseid Outdoor Observing Event
Please note
* This planetarium event is ticketed but free of charge
Tickets can be obtained through our Facebook or webpages
* Adult attendees should
be fully vaccinated against Covid-19; or
have had a negative test within the previous 48 hours.
* All attendees must register with Track and Trace at the Planetarium.
The planetarium and Jack Youdale Observatory will remain closed to the public for the immediate future (at least until the end of September).
Add for outside events - especially Perseid viewing:
* Even though it is summer - wrap up warmly evenings can be cold
* Bring a portable chair or recliner to make meteor observing easier.
