'The Great Ladies of Jazz'
A host of London's top vocalists celebrate the giants of jazz singing, from Billie to Ella, from Peggy Lee to Julie London, from Nina to Sarah Vaughan. A night of swinging jazz and classic songs accompanied by the Alex Webb trio.
Sara Oschlag plays Wednesday 1st & Thursday 2nd September at 9.30pm
Copenhagen-born vocalist Sara Oschlag has been making waves in the UK ever since settling on the south coast earlier this century. Jazzwise editor Jon Newey said, ?her stylish, imaginative phrasing and insouciant verve blew everyone away? and Sussex Jazz Mag gave her 2014 release ?My Little Boat? a 10/10 review, calling it ?an album that you can listen to over and over again.?.

His songs have been recorded by jazz singers China Moses, Mina Agossi, Sandra Nkake, Liane Carroll, Allan Harris, Alexia Gardner and Alexander Stewart, among others. His show ?Cafe Society Swing? has enjoyed several theatre runs in London and one in New York, where he received the New York Times ?Critic?s Pick?.
