Trish Clowes is joined by her friends Chris Montague (guitar) and Ross Stanley (piano) for a special night of music, including some favourite tunes and original material from each of the band.

Saxophonist and composer Trish Clowes has been described as ?an improviser to be reckoned with? (Downbeat Magazine). Lauded for her imaginative approach to improvisation and composition, Clowes is currently an Associate Artist at Wigmore Hall, and has released six critically acclaimed albums. Her band MY IRIS (with Stanley, Montague and James Maddren) have toured worldwide and been hailed as ?the jazz of the future? (Augsburger Allgemeine).

Pianist and organist Ross Stanley is a Yamaha artist, Hammond endorsee and two times winner of a British Jazz Award in the organ category. After being awarded an organ scholarship to Marlborough College, Stanley studied at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and since then his musical skills have kept him in high demand, seeing him work with musicians and ensembles such as Eddie Gomez, Seamus Blake, the Hamish Stuart Band, BBC Concert Orchestra, Nostalgia 77 Octet, Tom Jones, Alfie Boe, Maceo Parker, and Pino Palladino.
 
Chris Montague is widely recognised for his skills as a guitarist and composer. As a founder member of Troyka he has garnered a reputation for his distinctive approach to the guitar and has gained much acclaim for his contribution to many contemporary recordings. Chris?s new trio ?Warmer than Blood? - with Kit Downes (ECM) on piano and acclaimed bassist Ruth Goller on bass - released their debut album earlier this year on Whirlwind Recordings, which has been described as "one of the most innovative, and in that respect accomplished, records of the year, so far" (All About Jazz).
