Barking Tales (the mental health comedy night) is back at a new venue, which is ours. The show will start at 8:00pm but we'll be there from 6:00pm for you to arrive when you want. Plenty of time for all to catch-up / meet for the first time. No big rush to leave, either, and we'll remind you of the time of the last tram.

It's a small space though, so if we could have as clear an idea as possible of who is coming, that'd be greatly appreciated. Send us a message if possible, so we can set the chairs up.

Masks will be encouraged when moving around, and would have thought it went without saying but if you've got ANY COVID symptoms then please keep yourself at home. I think everyone was very good at not being all up in other people's space anyway, so continue to practice that too.

We have our own car park, right outside the entrance!


If anyone is nervous of navigating the walking route from Derker tram station for their first try, let us know and we'll arrange to come meet you. We'll add some route maps, too.

*Stephen Bailey

Stephen Bailey is a comedian, presenter, television personality and writer, whose friendly and open brand of gossipy humour has made him one of the UK?s most exciting up-and-coming acts in comedy at the moment.

He is the narrator of ITV Be?s Ferne McCann: First Time Mum and took over as host of Takeshi?s Castle on Comedy Central, following in the footsteps of Craig Charles, Jonathan Ross and Roman Kemp.

Additionally, hosted three series of Celebs on the Farm/Ranch (Channel 5), has most recently starred in Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Celebrity Mastermind (BBC One), Celebrity Coach Trip (E4) and Love Island: Aftersun & the second series of The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2).

Stephen was the resident Agony Uncle on Zoe Ball on Saturday/Sunday (ITV) and a series regular on Big Brother?s Bit on the Side (Channel 5) until the end of their runs.

He?s also appeared on many TV shows including Coronation Street & Good Morning Britain (ITV), The Apprentice: You?re Fired (BBC Two), Roast Battle, Takeshi?s Castle & Comedy Central at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), Safeword, CelebAbility & The Great Xmas Rant (ITV2), Wardrobe Secrets (ITVBe), Celebrity Advice Bureau (W), Celebrity 5 Go Camping, Do The Right Thing with Eamonn and Ruth, It?s Not Me, It?s You & The Jeremy Vine Show (Channel 5).

As well as being a working-class, ginger, gay, northern comic, he is also a black belt in Tae Kwon-Do, has a degree in French & Spanish.
