Description

Winner of the ?Best Vocalist? prize at 2019?s British Jazz Awards, and widely regarded as one of the country?s finest jazz singers, Sara Dowling is deeply inspired by the repertoire of the great American songbook. Approaching the act of singing with an extraordinary fearlessness and burning conviction, Dowling?s virtuosic technique and irresistible communicative power has drawn widespread critical acclaim. Featured frequently as a guest with the Ronnie Scott?s All Star Band, and a regular performer at some of London?s most prestigious jazz clubs, we are hugely excited to welcome Dowling back to The Oxford.
