An evening of inspirational interpretations of folk songs and tunes with award winning multi-instrumentalist Robin Gillan.
Described as a polymath musician, Robin delivers songs with power and sensitivity. His fiddle playing conjures backwoods mountain scenes and soft rainy pastures. Equally adept at 5 string banjo, fiddle, harmonica, guitar and melodeon, Robin draws from the music of the British Isles and the USA. His playing has rawness, balanced by technical ability, producing an archaic sound rarely achieved in the 21st century.
