Our first concert of 2022 features two full symphonies! Florence Price?s Symphony No.1 was the first female-written symphony to ever be performed by a major orchestra in America at its premiere, and is joined on the programme with Sibelius? remarkable one-movement Symphony No.7.

Also on the cards for the evening are Ravel?s La Valse and Butterworths A Shropshire Lad, Rhapsody for Orchestra.
