Idiosyncratic Birmingham-based folk singer Katy Rose Bennett celebrates the release of her new acapella vocal album with this return-to-hometown show, accompanied by "The Frankley Beeches", a 4-piece backing group comprised of Siriol Davies, Sam Fox, Joe Bennett & Hannah Rhodes. "Alone On A Hill" is a collection of new songs written and recorded during lockdown and inspired by living in isolation for the last year.

Support comes from Abingdon's Benedict Heaney, a brilliant solo electric violinist "with no known musical boundaries", and from Oxford's superb groove driven acapella group The Rivers, performing stunning arrangements of contemporary pop artists from Joni Mitchell to Massive Attack.
There will be a *cash donation* bar serving soft drinks, wine and ale.

Steventon Church is a large, well ventilated, seated venue. Concert-goers are welcome to wear masks if they wish, and the size/nature of the space makes maintaining social distancing possible for those who wish to. Steventon is located 12 miles south of Oxford, near to Abingdon, Didcot & Wantage, and is well-served by the X2 bus route from Oxford, Abingdon & Didcot. There is also ample parking at the church.
