See Saltdean Lido before the restoration begins!

We are inviting the public to an exclusive behind-the-scenes heritage tour of Saltdean Lido. Access will include parts of the building which have been closed for many years - including the derelict ballroom, former changing rooms, original plant room and sunbathing decks.

The 45-minute guided tour is a unique opportunity to learn about the Lido?s social history and will be the last chance to see the Grade II* derelict building before the restoration begins. Visitors will also learn how the SLCIC will sensitively bring this building back to its former glory as a leisure destination and community hub.

These sessions will be limited, and we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Safety Restrictions:

.This is a hard hat tour: Hats and high visibility vests will be provided
.The tour takes place over two floors of the lido building and as there is currently no lift, it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues
.Sensible footwear is required
.Face masks will be worn at the discretion of visitors

.PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINS BEFORE THE TOUR BEGINS TO CHECKIN AND RECEIVE YOUR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT.
