This event will celebrate Zahra?s new single, They Say, which is out November 5th.

Zahra is a musician, composer, performer and award-winning director of the Young Women?s Music Project. She is based in Oxford where she was born and raised as a second-generation immigrant, her father having emigrated to the UK from Iran and her mother being Irish. This is the fourth in a mini series of free online events we?re running, inviting local musicians to showcase how they make their music in celebration of the music production courses we've run this year. With equipment donated by Focusrite, and software from Ableton, we've been able to work with young women and non binary people throughout the last year, to develop skills in producing music from home.

This event is open to all, regardless of gender, though it will foreground the experiences of young women and non binary people. Tickets are free of charge!
