Welcome to Curious AF!
Curious AF is a social sober space where we try the hottest new AF drinks on the market, and workshop through activities to teach you how to practice sobriety effectively. The January 2022 sessions are set up to support you in the popular global trend ?Dry January? - and beyond. Curious AF believes that addressing your relationship with alcohol without judgement, is more helpful than deciding if you have ?a problem? or not, and that having the skills and knowledge to practice sobriety more regularly throughout the year, is more beneficial to your health than a white knuckled alcohol free month just after a booze filled Christmas.
As an Alcohol Recovery Worker and Holistic Therapist it is my passion to support people making meaningful change in their life through addressing their relationship with alcohol.
In this unique 2 hour workshop I will introduce you to basic assessment tools, compassionate enquiry, journaling and quit literature, as well as an abundance of resources and support groups AND all the tips and tricks you?ll need to navigate ?sober sprints? that will help you stay in control all year round.
JANUARY TASTING:
Hottest new trend indeed, as the AF market grows ever more competitive, the real players are designing drinks that hit GABA receptors and contain nootropic elements to genuinely lift your mood and help you unwind. We will be trying ?Spirited Euphoria? from Edi (pronounced ee-dee).
This endorphin spirit is made from distilled hemp, containing nootropics, terpenes and ancient adaptogens to help you unwind. It is completely alcohol free and does not intoxicate, but with legal, safe CBD distillate and natural sources of 5-HTP this cloudy bittersweet molecular blend is at the cutting edge of booze free beverages.
And it wouldn?t be a workshop if you didn?t get a little goody bag to go home with.
