Brazilian composer, arranger and 7-string guitarist Luiz Morais presents his second album 'In the Weave'.

At the cutting edge of Brazilian Jazz, this work draws from the Brazilian tradition forged by the likes of Tom Jobim, Baden Powell and Moacir Santos whilst weaving new threads and connections to contemporary Jazz.

Morais here presents the album with a 5-piece band comprising the crème de la crème of UK Jazz instrumentalists. Expect intricate, thrilling arrangements built around the rhythmical force of the Brazilian guitar tradition that push the players to their edge.
