Whitacre Lux Aurumque
Nixon The Holly & the Ivy
For this seasonal concert we will perform Whitacre?s Lux Aurumque, together with some traditional carols and readings. Please come and join conductor Calum Fraser and members of Streatham Choral for an afternoon of festive music and mince pies. Under 12s go free for this performance (see ticket options).
Conductor: Calum Fraser
Organist: Samuel Ali
Seating: Maximum audience: 250. Given the seating arrangements at St Leonard?s, we are unable to allocate specific seats to prepaid tickets. Therefore, to ensure a seat and a non-restricted view, please arrive in good time before the concert.
60 socially-distanced seats are available in the gallery. Please email us at streathamchoral@gmail.com if you would like to be added to the list for one of these seats.
Programmes and bar: We operate a cash bar (£3 wine / £0.50 juice) and cash donations for programmes (suggested donation: £1)
COVID-19 requirements and adjustments: We would encourage everyone to take a lateral flow test before attending the concert - particularly if they are not double vaccinated. Given that, post-vaccination, COVID-19 symptoms can be more akin to the common cold and much less distinctive, we would ask that you do not attend the concert if you feel at all unwell. We also encourage the wearing of masks when not singing or drinking. There will be hand sanitiser available around the church, and we will also ventilate the building by way of open windows and an open side door.
