Liven up the new year with some dancing - the Tudor way!
Learn to dance Pavans, Galliards, Volta's and get involved in a Brawl (it's not what you think!), in this workshop run by the amazing Faye Maughan of Nonsuch Historical Dance Company. No previous dance experience is necessary.
LIVE music will be provided by an authentically Tudor consort of viols!
Over the afternoon we?ll learn 4 Tudor dances, contrasting country dances with courtly dances. This is an inclusive event - peasants and aristocracy are equally welcome.
COVID INFO: Places are limited to 26 and we recommend booking in pairs so you can remain with your partner throughout the workshop. Participants must show evidence of vaccination or a negative LFT before entry.
