Alastair Caplin and Ewan Macdonald have been playing Gaelic songs and Highland fiddle tunes together with delicacy and fire for nearly a decade.

Fiddle player and multi-instrumentalist Ewan Macdonald plays the music of the Highlands of Scotland, where he grew up, and Appalachian Old Time, its close relative from across the Atlantic. He performs with the 12-piece folk group Band of Burns alongside Alastair Caplin and in groups including Root and Branch and the Idumea Quartet.
