Not sure whether this does him justice.. I hear the playfulness of The Beta Band and/or mid period St Vincent, the drum machine and textured minimalism of Young Marble Giants, the weird pop freedom of The Unicorns.. so much great stuff it's hard to pin down... Their last LP, System, is a masterclass of musical tapestry and a great sequal to my fave, the Green Door sessions, both out on Moshi Moshi Records...

Anyway, come down and see the synergy of accordion, drum machine, guitar and voice that is Callum Easter, it's gonna be a real treat...
