For the Music Circle's 80th Anniversary Concert we are delighted to welcome five siblings from this incredibly talented family. The concert will feature BRAIMAH violin, KONYA piano, JENEBA piano, AMINATA violin and MARIATU cello. They have won many prizes and awards and appeared in numerous television shows (with their two other siblings Sheku and Isata) including the Bafta awards in 2018 and the 2019 Royal Variety Show. In October 2020, they released their first album Carnival on Decca Classics to great critical acclaim and in May 2021 received the Global Award for Best Classical Artist.  They have been the subject of a number of documentaries more recently, opening BBC One?s 2020 Imagine series with a uniquely produced lockdown film entitled This House is Full of Music, and A Musical Family Christmas on BBC Two in December 2021. All the children attend or have attended London?s Royal Academy of Music and its Primary and Junior Academies, except pianist Jeneba who has progressed to the Royal College of Music for her undergraduate studies.  In this concert they will be playing separately and together from solos to duos, trio and quintet in works by Mendelssohn, Schubert, Bach, Liszt, Brahms, Coleridge-Taylor, Rachmaninov and Bridge.

As with most promoters who have returned to full length performances we will be doing the same for this event. There will be interval refreshments to celebrate the special occasion. We continue to monitor Government guidance and be prepared to implement any new procedures. Currently we will request that concert attendees use face coverings.
