Guillermo Hill is a guitarist based in London.
His music is a blend of Jazz with contemporary South American sounds.
He has been involved in both the UK Latin and Jazz scenes, performing regularly at the Crypt, as well as playing at Ronnie Scott?s, the 606 club, the Vortex, Royal Albert Hall, and touring regularly in Europe with different projects.
He played with a very wide variety of artists over the years, including Tom Jones, Mica Paris, Ola Onabule, Bansangu Orchestra, Latin performers Monica Vasconcelos and John Crawford and master Brazilian drummer Airto Moreira.
Back in his native Uruguay, he played with Osvaldo and Hugo Fattoruso, Fernando Cabrera and Mariana Ingold.
Guillermo Hill and his quintet will play a blend of contemporary and traditional Instrumental music from South America, influenced mainly by Uruguayan Candombe and Brasilian Samba and Bossa Nova.
