IN FEAR
After making strides forward through the UK live scene in 2019 (with tours alongside Jonestown, Ursus, Bury The Traitor and In Depths, festival appearances at Tech-Fest, Hopfest, Macmillan Nottingham and Bristol and additional performances alongside bands such as Loathe, Holding Absence, Napoleon and Lotus Eater) the band are planning to revive the live scene and already have completed a Headline tour with Where Oceans burn, with phenomenal turnouts at each show, selling out the hometown Bristol show.
Later on in the year they went on to support Dreameater, breaking off from that for a day to play Techabilitation in Derby to a packed out crowd who couldn?t get enough.
During 2019 the band released their debut EP "Solace" along with 3 music videos for tracks Arke, Erebus and title track, Solace. This EP flourished online, with the track "Erebus" reaching just under 300,000 plays and was reviewed by Metal Hammer magazine saying "This Bristol based crew have got the balance just right"
Despite the lack of live performances throughout 2020, the band did not let the year go to waste. In early June the band released the music video for "Serpent" via dreambound which has since amassed over 80k views on YouTube and over 55k listens on Spotify. The track also featured in Rock Sound magazine quoting "Recent single 'serpent' crowned their rebirth, making serious waves on YouTube and putting them on the international radar. Their future looks bright."
CREAK
Creak are a four-piece metalcore band from Newcastle, England that draws influence from ?Nu-Metal? and ?Post-Hardcore?. Arriving onto the scene in early 2019, the band have been playing shows across the UK supporting acts such as, ?Desolated?, ?God Complex?, and ?Graphic Nature'.
They have also released their debut EP ?Bitter Picture?, which was worked on and produced with ?Connor Sweeney? formerly of the band ?Loathe?, and received heavy support from ?Alex Baker? at ?Kerrang?, and many other online press articles. They are currently in the studio finishing off a debut album titled ?Depth Perception?, and gearing up to start touring again given the easing of the pandemic.
?Newcastle?s Creak are one of the most exciting heavy bands on planet Earth right now. There, I said it. They?ve only been together for a little over a year and half, but in that time they have crafted the most unreal, crushing sound that will unite fans of bands as diverse as Slipknot and The Bled.
