We are excited to present the first ever UK show of the Sélène Saint-Aimé Trio.
The double bassist, singer and poet of Martinican and West African descent released her first album Mare Undarum to critical acclaim in 2020, navigating a unique path between contemporary jazz, Afro Caribbean rhythms and modern classical music.
Ahead of the anticipated release of her new album Potomitan, on Sunday 27th February, Sélène on double bass, alongside Irving Acao on tenor sax and Boris Reine-Adélaïde on bèlè drum, will perform an intimate acoustic live show at Brilliant Corners.
Antoine Rajon, the French producer, A&R and DJ who runs the Komos label will be playing records before and after the performance.
Doors are at 6pm, the live performance will start at 8pm.
