Part of Reach Out Streatham series bringing pop up cinema to local spaces.
A rare chance to see the epic 1982 American experimental non-narrative film produced and directed by Godfrey Reggio and sound tracked by Philip Glass.
Drawing its title from the Hopi word meaning "life out of balance," this renowned film reveals how humanity has grown apart from nature as urban life and technology versus the environment. With stunning visuals and an impressive score there will be music from the film played live before the screening in the stunning surrounds of St Peter's Church.
Featuring extensive footage of natural landscapes and elemental forces this is a unique experience with jaw dropping photography and soundtrack.
Bar and refreshments available, the church has a disabled ramp and disabled parking nearby. There is also free off road parking outside.
Audio loop available.
Screening is within the main church.
The 315 and 417 busses stop outside and Streatham Hill, West Norwood and Tulse Hill stations are the closest over ground services.
