Description

Jake Popyura (formerly of Doe) has put together an incredible live band, including Sophie (from Cheerbleederz, Finish Flag, Me Rex), Jay (Personal Best, Honey Joy, Onsind) and Em (Nervus). They?ll be playing hits from both of Supermilk?s fantastic full-length albums, Death is the Best Thing For You Now, and Four by Three, which came out last year on Specialist Subject. https://supermilk4u.bandcamp.com/album/four-by-three

Rounding out a stacked lineup will be beautiful local indie punk troupe Junk Whale (featuring members of Worry, Basic Dicks, and Spank Hair), indie pop from Birmingham-based Wiiince (featuring members of Ace Bushy Striptease) and gorgeous local newcomers Dogmilk (featuring members of Slate Hearts, Fancy Dress Party, and Easter Island Statues).

The gig will be all ages, with under 18s accompanied by a parent or guardian, and the venue room is wheelchair accessible. Personal assistants and carers can come for free - just get in touch with us at divineschism@gmail.com if you'd like to arrange this and we'll get them added to the list, or if there's anything else you'd like to ask us about.

Please note that in order to be as open and safe as possible for all our shows for the time being we need everyone to take either a lateral flow or PCR test within 48 hours before the show and bring along proof of a negative result. Bring this in the form of a text / email / NHS app / printed doc!

This is for everyone - if you?ve been vaccinated or not.

No proof = no entry

If you feel ill on the day, have been pinged or have a positive result please do not attend - either pass your tickets to a friend or reply to this email by 5pm on the day of the show for a refund. We can happily refund you for this reason before 5pm but not afterwards.

We'd like everyone to feel comfortable at our shows - hand sanitiser will be available and staff will be wearing masks and we'd encourage you to wear a mask at the show too. There will be breaks between acts to get some fresh air throughout the night.

Also, our shows are inclusive shows, and we want people to feel safe. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, bigotry and general dickery of any kind will not be tolerated. If you feel like you can't handle that, feel free not to come. And if you experience any of these, speak to one of us (we'll probably be hanging about the door) or to venue staff.

And finally, we recognise that gigs are a financial luxury that not everyone can afford. We try to keep our gigs as cheap as possible, and we need to be able to pay the bands fairly, but if you know you can't afford it and would like to come, get in touch and we can arrange free or discounted entry for you.
