Culture shock are a powerfully positive ska punk dance unit fronted by Dick Lucas of Subhumans fame- culture shock sing songs of protest to an irresistible riddim which will make you dance, think and share the positive energy in your community- grass roots activism through reggae and ska with a spiky punk ethic- originally formed in 1986 culture shock coincided with and grew alongside the growing number of people in Tory Britain forced into putting into practice alternative ways of living- the travellers, green anarchists, mutualists and outsiders- their message of peace, inity coexistence on the planet with minimal impact , respecting one another and railing against advanced capitalism is as important now as it ever was- oh , and the songs are banging!!
