JOLLYROGER
Cornish sea-punk folk band JollyRoger fall somewhere between the sound of The Dropkick Murphys and Levellers. Inspired by the sea and growing up in the pirate haven of Penzance, they use nautical metaphors and pirate history to speak out about mental health issues and also the better things in life, like drinking beer. JollyRoger explode with energy on stage and are an eclectic mix of shanty vibes, humour and celtic punk, with a metal head mentality.
Inspired by bands such as Tenacious D, Royal Republic, The BossHoss and Russkaja; JollyRoger aim to fly the flag of diversity and misfits, that fit on most festival line ups.So far they have played over 300 gigs including storming sets at Boardmasters Festival, Balter Festival, Cornwall Pride, supporting The Rumjacks, Fishermans Friends, Subhumans, Mad Dog Mcrea and selling out shows at grassroot venues.
If JollyRoger had to pick a drink it would be BEER & RUM & UMM &..... RUM. Their tallest member is 6'7". Oh, and their favourite band is Tenacious D!

JAMES SPENCER
Songs of shipwrecks, drinking and love lost? James recently recorded his debut album ?Shine the Light? which is made up of folk and country infused rock. Based in North Devon, James has been playing in popular covers duo 'Bicycle Repair Man' since 2015. James draws on traditional acoustic sounds and combines them with pop-punk and rock rhythms. Many people have asked what genre he represents and he finds it hard to put his finger on it. What he can say is that it is a blend of all the styles of music he has been influenced by. So perhaps it should be labeled ?modern-country-folk-punk-rock?! Or ?transatlantic folk rock? as it?s folk rock that draws its influence from either side of the pond.
If you are a fan of early Mumford & Son?s, Frank Turner, The Levellers or Mad Dog Mcrea then this is definitely for you!
