Description

Pianist Basil Hodge has been a mainstay of the British jazz scence since the mid nineties.

He has just released his third album 'A Point of Reference' featuring his latest compositions.

Basil has played with Tony Kofi, Renato d'Aiello, Quentin Collins among others, as well as leading his own bands in either the trio, quartet or quintet format.

This band has the mighty Ed Jones on sax and a powerful rhythm team of Dave Manington and Rod Youngs. Expect to hear a cohesive blend of latin, funk, Bossa Nova and of course hard swinging rhythms with some great solos from these excellent musicians.
