Inder Paul Sandhu
Inder Paul Sandhu, the unpredictable song writer, vocalist, rapper and fashion designer from East London.

Creatively on the edge of parable-tic lyrics, from charming rap flows to smooth soulful rock. From his break-through international award-winning rap single ?Money Ain?t A Thing? to his sophomore soulful project ?Bloom", from which DJ Sharad picked up the monster single ?Compromise? for the Pharrell Williams & Adidas Holi mixtape.

BBC playlisted three times with each of his major releases.
Bobby Friction describes his songs as ?emotionally intelligent? and ?ear-wormy?.

Caroline Vain
Caroline Vain is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist originally from the East Coast of the United States. From a young age, Caroline studied classical violin, and was a member of multiple orchestras including the New Jersey Youth Symphony and New Jersey Regional Orchestra. After moving to London in 2014, Caroline Vain became one of the first members of the English National Youth Folk Ensemble in 2016. Caroline?s songwriting style is heavily influenced by her performance background, as well as her eclectic taste in music. Caroline?s most notable influences include Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, Phoebe Bridgers, and many more. Caroline has recently graduated from London College of Music with a First Class Honours in a Music Performance and Recording (Bmus) degree and with a Masters (Mmus) in Music Performance.

Alex Seel
Music has led Alex Seel from Devon to London to Ireland and back to London again. Through his wanderings, Alex has picked up a beautifully crafted, warm, rootsy song-writing style with thought-provoking, subtle lyrics and a gift for acoustic guitar finger-picking.

While promoting his album 'Shifting Sands' in 2013 he supported Graham Parker in Italy.

In 2015 Alex released his critically acclaimed ?Other Paths EP? that leaned more towards social commentary.

His newest release (2017) is the 'Circles EP' has also been well received by press and local radio. It features the songs ?Poor Boy? and ?Broken Faucet? played on various regional BBC shows and BBC 6 Music.
He continues to share his music around the UK and Ireland.

Description

A pub and music bar on the perimeter of Cambridge Circus, at the corner of Romilly Street and Moor Street. First licensed in 1686 as the George, the current building dates from 1898 and the current name from 1986. (One of the old names, Cantons, can be seen being held by one of the gargoyles on the top of the building).

Famous in the 1960s and 70s for folk music and then punk, latterly it has become a jazz venue and home to SpiceJazz club. Up to 5 real ales from the McMullen range on offer and free admission to the main bar but you may have to pay for some music gigs in the basement.

Upstairs at the Spice is for drinks, eats and good times. Enjoy Great British classics with special seasonal dishes prepared daily by our chefs.
