This Come and Sing will feature Howard Goodall?s Never to Forget, a choral tribute to NHS workers who died at the start of the pandemic, and the following works by Ralph Vaughan Williams to celebrate the 150th anniversary of his birth:
Two Folksongs: Ca? the Yowes & The Lover?s Ghost
Let all the world in every corner sing
The Old Hundredth (All people that on earth do dwell)
Morning session: 11am?1pm
afternoon session: 2pm?4pm
performance for friends, families and passersby: 5pm.
We may even have the company of Howard Goodall at some stage during the day!
Cost:
£25 adults,
NHS staff are invited to attend for just £10.
Cost includes music: Goodall score to keep, RVW scores are on loan & must be returned at end of the event.
