?George has been an integral part of BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award nominees Granny?s Attic where he cultivated a love of traditional song. But after three albums with Granny?s Attic and countless gigs across the UK and Europe, he has been carving his own path as an engaging solo performer of traditional music and has assuredly found his own voice.?
George regularly performs with other musicians including in a duo with Matt Quinn, and as a guest on Pete Morton?s 2020 album ?A Golden Thread?. In 2020 George was invited by Janis Ian to take part in her ?Better Times? project. He was also in the cast of Mick Ryan?s folk opera ?Here At The Fair?.

?George?s self-titled debut album, released in 2020, was well received featuring on national radio. It was listed as one of Songlines magazine?s ?Essential 10 Folk Albums of 2020?.
