Cleeve proudly welcomes back Martin Stephenson, a much loved solo singer-songwriter and frontman to his band The Daintees who formed in the 80s and were signed by Kitchenware around the time of Prefab Sprout and Hurrah! The band released classic albums such as 'Boat To Bolivia' and 'Gladsome, Humour & Blue'.
Always full of surprises, the audience are guaranteed an evening of heart warming humourous tales to accompany Martin's finely crafted songs and guitar picking of the highest standard. With an extensive back catalogue of 40 plus albums, no two performances are ever the same. He crosses paths with folk, ragtime, blues, country, reggae and punk guitar to name but a few! A fine night of music & banter awaits: seated but plenty of dancing room in the aisles, one not to be missed.
We will update our Covid guidelines nearer to the Event date but at the time of listing - masks & lat flow testing are optional, we will keep the Hall well-ventilated by opening the windows and encourage the use of our hand gel dispensers.
