Description

Dan Wheildon, Carl Raven and Gavin Barass have been playing together for the past 10 years. All based in the High Peak, they regularly work across the UK and Europe. Jazz at the Movies came about when the trio were chatting about all the great tunes that were originally recorded for old black and white movies which have made it to the Jazz Real Book.

They began to compile a list of movies that they should know, but were familiar with the title music. This led to finding the original trailers (some epically long!) which will precede each of the tunes chosen for tonight?s concert. They have re-imagined the music to contrast with the original sound from the film.
