Direct from the Netherlands, we are proud to present an exclusive date for this exceptional trio of musicians who push the boundaries of live performance as they weave between worlds with music that takes the observer on a journey through fantasy and reality. A heady mix of the old and the new, the real and the surreal, the East and the West, the conscious and the subconscious and the relationship between nature and man.

These three virtuoso musicians have performed their entirely improvised, yet incredibly coherent, art ? this is not so much music as art ? all over the world at major festivals from Taiwan to Mexico, Columbia to Greece and many places in between.

Impossible to pre-describe, one can perhaps expect a tapestry of mediaeval chants, modal chamber music, tribal expressionism, the avant garde, and a large dose of ambient and expansive ?sound paintings? nodding to the likes of Pink Floyd and Sigur Ros. I say ?expect? purely because every concert is improvised in the moment and every concert is different, even if the connection and telepathic nature of the interplay between the trio remains unchanged.
Whilst each musician is a virtuoso in their own right, Sanne Rambags vocals alone are an unmatched force of nature in their skill, range, truth, colours and beauty.
Exotic sufi-trance music? Ambient? Freely improvised old-school ECM jazz? Post-rock? Like travel, music is about the feeling of freedom.
