Generating Steam Heat are proud to present the legendary UK punk band Discharge live at New Lion Brewery.
Very few bands in any genre can claim to be as influential as Discharge.
From changing the sound of UK punk with their run of 7''s released in the early 80s to shaping the direction of thrash and extreme metal with their 'Why?' EP and brilliant, stone cold classic debut album 'Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing', Discharge have established themselves as one of the most important and incendiary punk bands of all time.
The bands most recent album 'End Of Days' captures Discharge at their intense best and their live show has been honed over years of international touring and festival appearances.
Support is from Plymouth's wrestling obsessed punk band Hellwigs who put on a great performance in full wrestling gear and DJ Gentleman Jimmy T who will be spinning some reggae vinyl to allow everyone to get their breath back between bands!
We think it?s fair to say that TQ9 has never seen a night like this and we can?t wait for this gig! Don?t miss out?
