Description

Nature-based fun activities to celebrate World Environment Day and the Queen?s Platinum Jubilee. Make a nature crown, take part in a minibeast hunt, pond dip and do some craft with a recycling focus. Ideal for little ones, these family learning activities offer a different side to the gardens, with environmental and craft activities. Led by Juliette Green, our Environmental Education Teacher.

Ticket information:

Advance booking essential, via wegottickets. Ticket cost is £7.50 per child (no discount for siblings) including on-line booking fee. This is a family learning event, so a parent or carer is expected to join in, and your place is free. Due to ongoing Covid restrictions, we may need to restrict the indoor activities to one adult per child.

Useful to know:

These sessions are suitable for children aged three to twelve years old, Please dress appropriately for the weather, since the sessions will take place mainly outside. Bring a drink and a snack, or bring your packed lunch if you?d like to have a picnic at Martineau Gardens. Please note that Martineau Gardens serves hot and cold drinks (donations welcome) but not food.

There is a small car park at the Gardens (admission free), but parking is limited and gets busy over school holidays. Consider the green option - boot, bus or bike.
