Back by popular demand. Having been restricted from travelling by Covid regulations Max & Veronica return to the UK and Southend for the first time in three years. Not to be missed.

Veronica Sbergia & Max De Bernardi passionately play country blues and ragtime, hokum, jug band and rural music from the 20s and 30s. They like to keep this precious musical heritage alive faithfully reproducing its original sound whilst playing it with a modern twist.

Together they represent an irresistible blend of blues, ragtime, vaudeville and Jug band music played using strictly acoustic instruments such ukuleles, washboard, kazoo, acoustic and resophonic guitars.

Max & Veronica won the European Blues Challenge 2013, held in Toulouse (FR) in 2013 and were selected in January 2015, for the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (TN).

They have toured in Austria, Belgium, USA, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Norway, Spain, Germany, England, Scotland, Poland, Romania, and Italy.

There are currently no restrictions regarding Covid 19 although anyone showing symptoms are kindly requested to not attend. Masks may be worn but are not compulsory at this time.
