Description

Get creative this half term and make your own regal headwear in this crown-making workshop, inspired by the Queen?s Diamond Diadem.

The bejewelled crown, worn by Queen Elizabeth II during the precession to her coronation, was originally made for King George IV in 1820, the same year that the Union Chain Bridge was built.

Come along to find out more and make your own shiny headdress out of colourful craft items and gems!

Please be advised that, although the workshop is free, entrance into Berwick Museum and Art Gallery is still subject to normal admissions charges. These are:

? Adult: £5
? Multiple adults purchased at the same time: £4.50
? Concession (OAP and student): £4
? 16 and under: FREE

Tickets can be upgraded to allow free museum access over the full year, as an annual pass, for no extra charge. They can be bought on arrival at Berwick Museum and Art Gallery front desk or in advance on the Museums Northumberland website: https://museumsnorthumberland.org.uk/annual-pass/

Children's workshops last approximately one hour. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. As this workshop includes small parts, it is not recommended for children younger than 5.
