Meeting Point Workshop: Making The Yarn Event Title Pic

Description

Join Hetain Patel in our historic Education room for a relaxing, creative workshop as part of our Meeting Point art programme. Help him to cut down donated clothes and twist them into yarn as you enjoy a chat about the world, forgotten workers, and how an artwork at Cromford Mills fits into it all.

This workshop is free to attend but places are limited so please book a ticket for one of the sessions:
10.30-11.30am
1-2pm
2.30-3.30pm

Please be aware this activity largely consists of twisting fabric with your fingers. No prior experience is needed, just a bit of patience! Hetain will teach you all the skills you need. Recommended for ages 12+. Refreshments will be provided.

We will be taking photos and video of the workshops to use as part of the project but if you would rather not feature in any footage, please let us know upon arrival at the workshop.
