For those in the know, Mike Mayfield is already one of the UK's foremost musicians. As a master of vocals, keyboards, bass and - famously - guitar, Mike is the go-to sideman of dozens of household named acts such as Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Rita Ora, Leone Lewis, Emeli Sande, Jamie Cullum, Ellie Goulding and Joss Stone, to name but a few. In this capacity Mike has played some of the biggest arenas and appeared on major TV shows all over the world. Closer to home, Mike also produced Jo Harman's award winning debut record 'Dirt On My Tongue', co-writing many of the songs with his long time friend Jo across both of her studio albums.

With his unique soulful vocals and astonishing guitar playing, it's easy to see why Mike has been in particularly high demand as a session musician, but his focus now is on producing his own original material, having already been invited to open for Paloma Faith in that capacity, and this self penned single announces his intentions in pretty dramatic fashion.
