As part of the Gravesham Fringe Festival 2022, come aboard the historic Light Vessel 21 in Gravesend to enjoy an atmospheric matinée gig by the Kent based Kinvala.

An acoustic band at heart, Kinvala is a genre-bending four-piece with a sound that?s hard to define.

Blending intricate guitar parts, expressive vocals and percussive elements, their songs range from mellow to rhythmic to heavy to jazzy to dancy to "how the heck do you describe this one?" It?s hard to know what ?box? they belong in. The music is melodic and complex; their lyrics explore topics like time and consequence, love and loss, nature and humanity.

This live performance will feature multi-layered and interesting catalogue of songs from their self-titled debut album ?Kinvala? which reflects the band?s eclectic range of influences and inspirations. Everything you hear has been created organically and their creative approach to songwriting means you never quite know what to expect.

Access limitations:
As a historic ship access aboard LV21 is limited with main entry via a gangway and a steep staircase. Please wear flat, non-slip shoes when onboard. Regrettably there is no wheelchair access to the ship.
