Fuzz Bat 50: An All Dayer Special

Event Type

Genre : Music - General

Description

Holy wowzers, it's the 50th Fuzz Bat Gig and so it only seemed right to make it an all dayer special with a lovely varied lineup of a fantastic bunch of acts at the cracking venue which is St Vincent's Chapel.

Running order tbc (Order listed below is alphabetical).

Burnt Paw: Captivating alternative psychedelic dreamy acoustic folk about quests and adventures from a Wizard. May contain references to Dragons, Cats and Mountains.
Listen: https://burntpaw.bandcamp.com/
Watch:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HZjthLBLKo...

Cod O'Donnell: Dunbar's favourite bag wearing musician. "Strange Backwater Escapades Over Buzzing, Corroded Soundscapes/ Scratchy Oddball Folk Songs."
Listen: https://cododonnell12.bandcamp.com/
Watch:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=askD2D2FzxU...

Cuttings: Fuzz-soaked angular indie rock four piece full of fun adventurous twists and turns. They sadly called in quits in 2017 but have thankfully recently reformed.
Listen:https://cuttings.bandcamp.com/releases

Maud The Moth: An insect creating emotional, dark prog, hypnotic soundscapes. She "draws on a wide- ranging musical background, including traditional folk, jazz, classical, avant-garde and rock."

Watch:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DT6uJEQS9dw...

Miss Leading: Spoken Word Electronic Art-Pop over from New Zealand. "A juxtaposition of political and depressing spoken word and song" fused with "happy melody and beats".
Listen:https://missleading.bandcamp.com/
Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eELc02_Y_4...

Olivia Furey: Assertive noise making/sound exploring created with spoken word, self made instruments, electric guitar and sonic manipulation experiments. May contain references about how awful the gig, audience and her manager are.

Watch again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcZZLLKtn7Y...

R. Denham: Edinburgh's resident gloomy bastard who creates a dark ambient/goth/dub racket. He's fond of 808 sounds, sub-bass and screaming.
Listen: https://rdenham.bandcamp.com/
Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5jhbVCWsqs...

Riarki + Hersel: Bass/guitar duo drenched in all of the reverb complete with beautiful harmonies taking you on a journey through space. There's so much reverb that if it was water, you'd drown.

Watch again: https://www.facebook.com/riarkiandhersel/videos/1596201500743677
