The opportunity to hear music by W F Bach (the oldest son of the famous J S Bach), and the chance to hear them played on the clavichord.
The clavichord is a domestic instrument, and one loved by keyboard players worldwide because of its intimate and expressive characteristics. The 12 Polonaises of W F Bach were some of his earliest works, and together with music by his brother C P E Bach, represent the new generation of Roccoco composers.
