He and his high energy trio let fly through a set of piano rattling boogie boogies, rags, blues classics and some good time rock and roll.
Matthew is a regular fixture at the annual Mustique Blues Festival performing with some of the world's finest award-winning blues artists, he?s been a guest multiple times for the Blues Explosion at Ronnie Scott?s in London and has toured, recorded and performed around the globe with artists of all genres for over twenty years.
?His individual style and eclectic approach to the blues has led to him sharing the stage with living legends such as Ronnie Wood, Joe Louis Walker, Shemekia Copeland, Rick Estrin, Arthur Brown, Duke Robillard, Joe Bonnamassa, Wynton Marsalis, Ian Siegal, Dana Gillespie and many more including the late great New Orleans songwriting legend and pianist Allen Toussaint.
?Away from the blues Matthew has performed and recorded with number one selling pop artists as well as a stint working as Musical Director in London?s West End for David Bowie?s (official) ?Lazarus? musical and enlivening his pop sensibilities further taking the MD reigns for Take That?s (official) The Band Musical as well as ABBA?s Mamma Mia ?The Party? at London?s O2 Arena.
