Hi all, cost, & info below..We have an amazing 4 mile or 5.5 mile optioned walk. It is extremely rare to walk on the other side of the River Thames seeing outstanding views of the o2 Arena and London's delightful cable car across the Thames. An incredible area to walk and we will be stopping for a beautiful location cafe break, we will also see London's only lighthouse, the only American roadside dining car in UK used in one of the greatest films 'Sliding Doors' with Gwyneth Paltrow and John Hannah, the fabulous Trinity Buoy, the site of East India Docks when it was more powerful than Amazon or Apple companies in its day, container city (houses made from shipping containers!), Bow Creek, one of the most delightful secret gems ever, an eco-park for wildlife, home of the National Ballet, where the original pilgrims of America sailed from 14 years before the Mayflower, cool art including the cab tree (pictured), Faraday connections, a fascinating walk through some docks with multi-million-pound yachts and a giant old tall ship if anchored!

Please meet upstairs of the escalators, outside the front of Canary Wharf Station, next to the Alchemist Pub and the bike racks in front of the station. Walk starts and ends at Canary Wharf station for 5.5 mile group, or at East India DLR Station for 4-mile walkers. Please note: docks with multi-million-pound yachts and a giant old tall ship if anchored is not on the 4 mile walk.



If toilets are required before meeting on the walk, Canary Whaft Station Toilets are in the Jubilee Place Mall before you come up the escalators, go into mall, turn left at ?Cos? walk along the main corridor, turn left before the mall's escalator, where there is an alcove. It is behind where the ?Photo Me? Booth is situated.

If you are listed as RSVP 'going' on the event day, you can choose a £8 cash/card payment by simply turning up on the day.

Please do NOT turn up if on the waiting list, you will not be able to go on the walk sorry.

£5.50 limited Early Bird Tickets in advance, if tickets are not available to purchase, they have sold out. On this option, waiting list members can attend the walk, but ONLY with the early bird advanced ticket.

PLEASE ensure ARRIVAL at least 15 minutes BEFORE the start of the walk, sorry no latecomers accepted for whatever reason.

Members attend the unique walks from our different meetup groups.

IF LATE, SORRY WE ARE UNABLE TO RECEIVE CALLS OR ANSWER EMAILS AS WELCOMING MEMBERS, LEADING THE WALK, AND CONCENTRATING ON THE SAFETY OF THE GROUP. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CATCH THE GROUP UP, PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

Please note: Some events, being a large attended meetup group it will be an organised walk only, but members are very welcome to organise their own get-togethers after the event.

You are required to be fit, healthy, appropriate footwear & clothing, responsible for meeting at the correct location and your own safety. Please bring water and some snacks.

The organiser is not responsible for any circumstances that may affect the group, such as personal accidents, rail delays, cancellations, engineering works, heavy traffic, tours affected, weather, walk paths or routes closed, postcodes for car parks or for when we arrive back at the station, or anything else not mentioned!
