Ed Jones & Emil Karlsen
Ed Jones (sax) and Emil Karlsen (drums) put out an album last year called ?from where light falls?, on FMR records.
Ed Jones has played with jazz legends Horace Silver, George Benson, Dr Lonnie Smith, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Orphy Robinson and Byron Wallen, and as a session musician he has worked with the likes of Us3 , Terry Callier, Nostalgia 77, D?Angelo, Bootsy Collins, Chaka Khan and Tina Turner!
They are both active on the UK/European jazz and improvised music scene collaborating with musicians such as Evan Parker, the late John Stevens, London Improvisers Orchestra and Philipp Wachsmann to mention just a few.
