This August 5th get yourselves down to the Frog and Fiddle for an evening of 'Desert Rock' in the Barn, as we welcome back to the stage 'AVON' - Featuring 'Alfredo Hernandez' of KYUSS and QOTSA! Featuring support from 'Baron Greenback', Openers TBC!
AVON
AVON is heavy rock trio formed in California by Alfredo Hernández (former Kyuss, QOTSA), James Childs (Airbus, Little Villains) and Charles Pasarell (Waxy). Their heavy desert rock is psychedelic, raw, melodic and meaningful. Their musical bond comes from years of playing in their respective bands often together in California?s desert cities, Los Angeles and on many European tours.

BARON GREENBACK
Formed in 2009, Baron Greenback is an outfit which doesn't like to marginalize itself with labels. Sometimes heavy, sometimes bluesy, sometimes sludgy, sometimes funky, the Barons play music which is just second nature to them.
The band have opened for the likes of Serpent Venom, Alunah, Karma to Burn, Slab, Honky and Desert Storm. The band have also supported scene illuminaries Graveyard and the mighty Orange Goblin. In recent years, the Barons have also appeared alongside Eyehategod, Kylesa and Church of Misery.
