In two decades on the road Jeffrey Foucault has become a distinctive voice in American music, refining a sound recognizable for its simplicity and emotional power: a decidedly Midwestern amalgam of blues, country, rock?n?roll, and folk.
He?s built a brick-and-mortar international touring career on multiple studio albums, countless miles, and general critical acclaim, being lauded for ?Stark, literate songs that are as wide open as the landscape of his native Midwest? (The New Yorker), while catching the ear of the likes of Van Dyke Parks (The Beach Boys, Brian Wilson), who has worked with Foucault, to Don Henley (The Eagles), who regularly covered Foucault's song, "Everybody's Famous", during his 2011 solo tour. Plus, his music has been featured in some of the best TV series of recent years, including Sons of Anarchy, Preacher, and Nashville.
On this tour, Foucault will be joined by Eric Heywood, an acclaimed pedal steel player and guitarist, who has worked with the likes of Son Volt, The Jayhawks and Ray Lamontagne.
Opening the evening will be American singer-songwriter Dietrich Strause. His songs have been described by Americana UK as ?captivating and evocative?, and he recently released his fifth studio album, 'You and I Must Be Out of My Mind', on Jeffrey Foucault?s Blueblade recording label.
Doors are at 7.30pm, with music starting at 8pm. Jeffrey Foucault will be on 9pm. Any timing changes will be listed here.
Any remaining tickets will be available on the door, cash only, for £18.
