Come along to Duns Library and join in with our Union Chain Bridge-inspired story-telling afternoon.
We'll enjoy a story together interactively, try out some practical activities inspired by the story, give you some extra activities to take away with you to try at home as well as suggest some further reading books you could borrow from the library.
Youngsters can listen to and join in with specially selected stories and perform experiments to help make sense of the world around them.
Completely FREE and perfect for children aged 7-11 and those who care for them (we suggest each child has an adult accompanying them, as children may need some help with parts of the practical activities.)
Please note that parents/carers are required to stay for the duration of the event. If you can no longer attend a session, please cancel your ticket so the session can be offered to another family.
Please book one ticket per family (max. 2 children & 1 adult).
Our session will last about an hour but please do stay a while longer to investigate the amazing books in the library, which is free to join for Scottish Borders residents. Borrowing books is also completely free of charge to library members.
Why not make a day of it and visit the Jim Clark, just a minute's walk away, in the morning?
