Delighted to be bringing Crake back to London after they wowed the Lexington at the Summer Sprinter in June!
This time they'll be bringing their Humans? Worst Habits LPs to New River Studios out via Fika Recordings. Crake?s distinctive combination of gentle alt-folk and folkloric lyrics have received increasing attention of late, with Big Thief?s Buck Meek declaring the unassuming Leeds 4-piece one his favourite bands and inviting them to tour the UK/Europe, leading to a 7? on Saddle Creek?s Document series. Last month James Smith of Yard Act named them ?the best band in Leeds? after he played out their most recent single ?Winter?s Song? on Steve Lamacq?s BBC Radio 6 Music show. They?ve also been receiving plenty of acclaim from tastemaker sites like GoldFlakePaint, Dork, For The Rabbits, Beats Per Minute, Secret Meeting and more.
Sharing the downbeat alt-folk bill are ethereal freak-folk duo Milkweed and London/Oxford lo-fi off-kilter duo Richard Lewis who play their first ever London show!
