Description

Well he's back to finish off his slightly delayed and extended final solo tour. This is a must see performance before he ends his solo performing career.

2020 marked Clive Gregson?s 40th year as a professional musician, a big project to release an album a month throughout the year supported by a nationwide tour, before finally hanging up his bus pass and retiring from solo touring. Then came the pandemic and everything changed?

Fast-forward to autumn 2022? eight of the planned albums have been released (Clive was busy during the various lockdowns!), the remaining 4 are in the works and he will fit in as many live shows as possible at some of his favourite venues, before calling it a day.

Born and raised in Manchester and based in the USA for many years, Clive Gregson is an accomplished singer, musician and record producer of world-renown. Mary Chapin Carpenter named him as one of her favourite songwriters.

He?s one of the most respected songwriters of his time with a steady stream of stunning albums throughout his career; many other singers have recorded his songs. In 1985, he formed the ground-breaking partnership with Christine Collister and has toured with Richard Thompson, Eddi Reader, Boo Hewerdine, Nanci Griffith and Dennis Locorriere. As well as his instrumental guitar trio 3 Boxes and new band Raggedy Ass.

Still? it?s as a solo artist that audiences get to see the real Clive Gregson this autumn will be a last opportunity to catch Clive doing what he does best. See you there!
