Josephine Davies (sax) and Mark Bassey (trombone) team up to lead this sextet with a rendition of John Coltrane's now classic album 'Blue Trane'. Chris Coull completes the horn front line, with Terry Seabrook (piano), George Trebar (bass) and Joe Edwards (drums) providing the rhythm section.
First released in 1958, this landmark recording was Coltrane's only output as band leader on the legendary Blue Note record label.
